Brrrrrrrrrr......

Hello Scrappy Friends!

I took some time and decided to do little more of my favorite hand stitching. I found this photo in my time feed as I forgot to do a layout for it because lets face it, it is one the best photos of snow and country side of Germany. My family was heading to Triberg, Germany to see the winter wonderland of the Wasserfall (waterfall). BTW...it was gorgeous and just peaceful.

I did some little searching and found this Sketch and Stitch from Paige Evan's Cut Files on her Etsy Shop was this Snowflake and I went to town hand stitching. I did two different types of stitching, back stitch and chain stitch.

Hand stitching this snowflake was a huge task but I loved each everything about it. I made it 10.5 by 10.0 to able to have this Snowflake this big. I did show on the YouTube Tutorial on how I cut this snowflake out by fussy cutting it out so I could put it as my major focal point on the layout.

After about 9.5-10 hours later, I was able to start laying this down and putting the rest of the layout together. I didn't want to cover this snowflake up that much but I did want to use the Simple Stories, Freezin' Season, because one, I love the colors and two, I was able to pull four different colors to stitch on the snowflake.

I did round out the the embellishments with using some sequin mixes from Speigelmom Scraps, Starry Dreams, all over the layout! This made the layout just more gorgeous than it already was! It added just that little bit of funk and loved it! Here is the finished layout and process video!

Stay Scrappy Friends!
