Being Grateful

Hello Scrappy Friends!

A good friend and I had started this series called Cut.It.Out.; where we take the same cut file and give you two different takes on using the file because of ours styles are different. We took little break and brought it back this month using one of Paige Evan's cut file called Frame Cut File.

It is super gorgeous and I love it. I decided to follow this sketch from the Hip Kit Club, they do release weekly sketches and this one is super gorgeous and I only used three photos instead of four but I still kept the same style of sketch while making this layout.

Look how gorgeous that is!! Exciting, right? I kept the two photos in the middle and the one that is cut off at the bottom. I replaced the fourth photo in the middle with embellishments. I started out with using one of Paige Evan's Acetate Papers and cut it 5 inches and used that my layering piece.

Placed my photos in the middle of the acetate and built my clustering around the photos. I found this fox and cute chipboard piece called Grateful that made it as my title. I did of course add few other pieces to the layout. The reason why called this layout "Grateful" was that I found this amazing breakfast shop that was owned by a French Couple and it brought me back to Paris, France while I was stationed in Germany.

The coffee was amazing and the Crepes was just to die for. I was also grateful to be with one of my good crafty friends, where she took a photo of me and I did the same for her. I did cut off the bottom photo from the page but added a good amount of the clustering with flowers to make up for the half of the photo was missing but that is what the sketch called for, so why not do it!!

That rounded the layout with little splatters from Shimmerz Paints and here is complete layout and process video!
